For the 5th year in a row, The City of Woodland Community Services Department was awarded a grant from the Sacramento Junior Tennis Fund. The $1,800 in grant money will be used to offer free tennis lesson scholarships to new youth tennis participants between the ages of 6 and 16. Over the last 4 years, the Sacramento Junior Tennis Fund has awarded Woodland $7,600 which has paid for 188 scholarships and accounted for 800 participant hours.
