Yolo County jobseekers are invited to an in-person Job Fair on Tuesday, June 24 from 10 AM to 2 PM at Woodland Community College. 

This free event will bring together more than 40 local employers looking to fill full-time, part-time and seasonal positions in industries such as customer service, Information Technology (IT), healthcare, sales, food service, media, manufacturing, agriculture, transportation, education, warehousing hospitality and more. The job fair is a joint initiative by the Yolo County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA), YoloWorks!, and the Yolo County Workforce Innovation Board (WIB) in collaboration with Woodland Chamber of Commerce, City of Woodland and Woodland Community College.

Jobseekers can expect to meet with hiring managers from a wide range of industries, providing opportunities to network and explore available positions. Attendees are encouraged to bring their resume and engage with employers who have immediate openings. Jobseekers are encouraged to register in advance at www.YoloWorks.org.

“Yolo County is home to a talented workforce,” stated WIB Executive Director, Deanna Sverdlov. “We are excited to create a space where they can discover meaningful opportunities and connect with regional employers ready to bring their talents on board.”

Additionally, Yolo County jobseekers are invited to attend one of YoloWorks!’s upcoming Job Fair Preparation Workshop on Monday, June 23 at 9 AM with workshops being held in both West Sacramento and Woodland. The workshops will focus on making a strong first impression, how to approach and engage with employers, crafting a memorable elevator pitch, dressing for success and more.
