The following is a summary of key Spring Lake projects and their status.

Rick Gonzales Sr. Park

The required maintenance period ends today, December 1. The contractor will remove construction fencing and the park will be open by the end of the day.

Spring Lake Park

The park is almost complete. Remaining work includes completing the playground play surfacing. 

As a reminder, the park will continue to remain fenced off until mid-January for plant establishment. Please do not access the site until the fencing is removed. Entering the park often causes damage that delays the park opening.

In addition, please remember to clean up after your dog. Some residents enter the Spring Lake Park construction area with dogs and do not clean up after them. Pet waste has also been left in the existing portion of the park. Please use the dog waste bag dispenser at the intersection of Shellhammer Dr. and Griffith Dr. and help keep our parks clean for everyone to use.
