BeeLine Turns One - Celebrate "Week Without Driving"

Since launching in September 2023, BeeLine Microtransit has helped thousands of Woodlanders take shared public transit rides rather than driving solo. Next week is the perfect time to take BeeLine or Yolobus to celebrate national "Week Without Driving," a campaign to encourage residents to walk, bike, use public transit, and raise awareness of the roughly 30% of Americans who do not drive or cannot afford a car.

New "Alert Yolo" Emergency System

The Yolo County Office of Emergency Services (OES) recently launched Alert Yolo, a state-of-the-art, county-wide emergency notification system. This new system will serve all residents of Davis, West Sacramento, Winters, Woodland, and the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation, as well as the unincorporated areas of Yolo County.
