CR-25A and CR-102 Intersection Update
County Road 25A Gap Project (CIP 24-05)
The new traffic signal at the intersection of CR-25A and CR-102 is starting commissioning and testing today, January 29, 2025. Assuming City staff and the contractor’s signal technicians don’t encounter any unforeseen setbacks with startup, the new signal will be set into normal operating mode. Completion of the traffic signal improvements marks the completion of the project to construct the gap in CR25A to allow continuous access from the western boundary of Spring Lake to CR-102. Once the signal is operational, the barricades at Parkland Avenue and Miekle Avenue will be removed to allow through access on CR-25A. The majority of the roadway improvements were completed last summer, but the traffic signal equipment and street lights were long lead time items that pushed project completion out to early 2025. Thank you for your patience during this project.
