Mulch in garden bed

Fall in Love with Water Savings

Give your landscape some love this season with mulch! Adding a 3-inch layer helps retain moisture, reduce weeds, and enhance the appearance of your yard. As organic mulch decomposes, it enriches the soil with nutrients and improves its structure.

Did you know? The City of Woodland offers mulch rebates—residents and businesses can receive up to $100! Learn more at cityofwoodland.gov/rebates.

Leaves in a Organics Cart

Use Your Cart First – Keep Leaves Out of the Streets!

With rainy weather ahead, be sure to use your organics cart first now that Leaf Drop Season has ended. Your organics cart is collected weekly and is perfect for disposing of fallen leaves—keeping them out of storm drains to prevent localized flooding.

Helpful Tips:

✅ Chop long branches so they fit inside the cart with the lid closed.
✅ Need more space? Order a second organics cart for FREE by calling WM at 530-662-8748.

Stay informed! Check your Collection Calendar at cityofwoodland.gov/wastewizard for your personalized waste schedule.
