The City of Woodland and its Sustainability Advisory Committee invite residents to our second "Green Drinks" social on April 26, the Friday after Earth Day.
These informal gatherings happen worldwide (www.greendrinks.org) and encourage discussion about sustainability, climate change, and resilience. Sustainability Advisory Committee members started the tradition in Woodland to build community and connections among environmental professionals, activists, and anyone concerned about the planet.
Later this year, the Sustainability Advisory Committee will hold a “town hall” -type event, but the April 26 gathering will be an opportunity for more informal conversation and personal connections.
The event will be held outside on the patio at Morgan’s Mill on Friday April 26 from 5:30-7:00 PM. Morgan’s Mill serves wine, beer, coffee, and more.
