WM and the City of Woodland are proud to announce the launch of the At Your Door™ Special Collection® service, a convenient new program that provides residents with on-demand, at-home collection of household hazardous waste, electronics, and other hard-to-recycle materials.
The service is designed to help residents safely and responsibly dispose of everyday items that don’t belong in curbside carts.
“With At Your Door™, Woodland residents can schedule a pickup and safely dispose of items like paint, batteries, chemicals, and electronics—all from the convenience of their front door,” said Alex Oseguera, WM Area Vice President. “This program is a safe, compliant, and sustainable solution that helps protect our environment while making it easier for residents to make responsible disposal decisions.”
Woodland City Manager Ken Hiatt lauded the program as a simple approach to advancing both community safety and sustainability.
“Hazardous and hard-to-recycle items are some of the most difficult materials for residents to manage,” Hiatt said. “By bringing this service directly to the home, WM is making it simple for Woodland residents to protect their households, reduce illegal dumping, and safeguard our environment.”
How It Works
Residents can schedule a collection online at wmatyourdoor.com or by calling 1-800-449-7587. On the scheduled weekday pickup, residents place their packaged items outside their home, and trained professionals handle the rest.
