Cars and trucks are the top contributor to summer air pollution in Yolo and Solano counties, producing roughly 70% of the emissions that form smog. Driving less frequently is the best way to help reduce summer air pollution and carbon emissions from transportation. Cycling is one way to drive less.
The new Woodland Bike Loop features a citywide route (16.6 miles) and mid-loop connector (0.9 miles).

Active Transportation Plan
Woodland's new Active Transportation Plan will shape our community's vision to support walking and biking. Specifically, the plan summarizes existing conditions and community characteristics as well as suggests future improvements.
The plan was developed by collecting rich local data, incorporating public input, developing recommendations, and working hand-in-hand with internal and external stakeholders.
