2. REBATE DETAILS

   Availability Status: Available

   The City of Woodland Water Conservation Program will be offering rebates during the current fiscal year for rain barrels. The level of rebate for each rain barrel is the purchase price or rebate amount ($75 for up to two 50-99 gallon rain barrels or $150 for one 100+ gallon rain barrel), whichever is less. The rebates are offered to city residential and commercial water customers

4. ELIGIBILITY

   💧  Rain Barrel(s) must be purchased between July 1, 2025 and June 30, 2026 to be eligible. 

   💧 Applicant must be the property owner or tenant with an active City of Woodland utility account.

   💧 Rain barrels must have an overflow tube, vector control (mosquito-proof screen under the lid), and a lid.

   💧 If a mosquito-proof screen is not included, the applicant must install a screen with a minimum 18 x 14 mesh.

    💧 Funding for rebates is first-come, first-serve and is not guaranteed. Please check funds before submitting your application.

    💧 Up to $150 may be rebated for rain barrels per utility account per fiscal year (July 1 – June 30).

    💧 The level of rebate for each rain barrel is the purchase price or rebate amount ($75 for up to two 50-99 gallon rain barrels or $150 for one 100+ gallon rain barrel), whichever is less.

    💧 Rebate for each rain barrel is the purchase price plus tax or whichever is less and does not cover delivery charges or other fees.

    💧 Applicant agrees to maintain rain barrels for at least 3 years from the date of purchase.

    💧 Applicant agrees to not use collected water for potable use.

    💧 Applications must be received within 90 days of purchase. Applicant must submit a copy of the sales receipt.

    💧 Applicant must submit photo(s) of installed rain barrel(s).

    💧 Units are subject to inspection for program compliance. Failure to comply may forfeit rebate.

40. AUTHORIZATION*

    By checking the boxes below you are in agreement with the following:

    1. City of Woodland will randomly select customers for a post-installation verification. By submitting this application you are agreeing to a post-installation verification of the rain barrel(s).
    2. Applicant must authorize submitted photos to become City of Woodland property.
    3. Applicant must agree that the City of Woodland may use historical and future water usage data for statistical purposes.
