By submitting this form, I acknowledge and understand that I am the property owner (or authorized agent) of a vacant parcel located within the City of Woodland and/or the Springlake Fire Protection District.

I understand that I am responsible for maintaining this parcel in compliance with City of Woodland Municipal Code Chapter 9.44 (Weed Abatement) and applicable fire safety requirements at all times throughout the year, not only during the designated fire season. This includes keeping the property free of dry vegetation, combustible growth, and other conditions that may create a fire hazard or be declared a public nuisance.

I further acknowledge that I have received and reviewed the weed abatement notification letter and understand that required abatement must be completed prior to the fire season deadline identified in that notice, and maintained thereafter in accordance with Municipal Code Chapter 9.44.

I understand that failure to comply may result in re-inspection, enforcement action, and/or abatement by the City or Fire District, with all associated costs billed to me and potentially recorded as a lien against the property, as allowed by Municipal Code Chapter 9.44.
