Fellow Accomplishments

Giselle Ayala | Maker Camp Leader | Woodland Public Library

Giselle managed the day-to-day operations of the "Maker Camp" in Square One, a camp for rising 4th-7th graders to explore art, design, and engineering through crafting a "book nook". 

Zelewit Molla | Human Resources Fellow | Administrative Services

Zelewit prepared an employee engagement survey and collaborated with Tanika (Marketing & Communications Fellow) to launch "The Voices Behind Our City", a video series highlighting staff stories.

Tanika Anbuchelvan | Marketing & Communications Fellow | Community Services & City Manager's Office

Tanika created social media content to celebrate Parks and Recreation Month and collaborated with Zelewit (HR Fellow) to launch "The Voices Behind Our City" video series.

Crystal Guadalupe Mendez-Diaz | Summertime Fun Club Special Program Coordinator | Community Services

Crystal managed the day-to-day operations of the "Summertime Fun Club", a multi-site summer youth program that provides a safe and engaging space for incoming 1st-6th graders.

Sharada Mahesh | Legislative & Administrative Services Fellow | City Manager's & City Clerk's Office

Sharada researched and analyzed policies, programs, and emerging technologies to inform City initiatives, and conducted an internal audit of City policies.

Ana Carvajal | Crime Analyst & Community Engagement Fellow | Police

Ana translated complex data into accessible public materials, applied GIS tools to support crime analysis, and fostered cross-unit collaboration and community engagement to support public safety initiatives.

Timothy Luevano | Crime Analyst Intern | Police

Timothy provided analytical support to enhance operational effectiveness, guide strategic decision-making, and foster collaboration across public safety units.

Jennifer Gonzalez Loza | Public Outreach Fellow | Public Works

Jennifer produced informational videos showcasing divisions in the Public Works Department and completed a public questionnaire and bilingual door hanger to improve community outreach. 

Violet Oliver | Community Risk Reduction Fellow | Fire

Violet developed social media content, boosting engagement by 40%, while gaining firsthand experience in fire operations, investigations, and inspections.

Katharine Apicella | Housing & Community Development Analyst Fellow | Community Development 

Katharine supported affordable housing initiatives by managing funding applications and reports, preparing public hearing materials, and presenting project recommendations to advance affordable housing development.
