Substantial rain is forecast to begin this Sunday, December 12 and last through at least early next week. The City's Public Works Department will make sandbags available to Woodland residents. Sand piles are located at the Municipal Service Center on N. Pioneer Avenue. Residents may take and fill up to 30 bags, which are available at the Municipal Service Center parking lot along with shovels. When the weather event has passed, we ask residents to please refrain from disposing of sand down the storm drain. Woodlanders are also welcome to return sandbags to the Municipal Service Center.
