SUMMARY OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE
REPEALING AND REPLACING SECTION 15.16.090
OF THE WOODLAND MUNICIPAL CODE
REGARDING DENSITY BONUSES
At a meeting of City Council of the City of Woodland to be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 6:00 PM in the City Council Chambers, 300 First Street, City Hall, Woodland, CA, the Ordinance as described below will be considered for adoption.
At a noticed public hearing on February 4, 2025, the City Council voted to introduce an Ordinance repealing and replacing Section 15.16.090 of the Woodland Municipal Code regarding density bonuses and other affordable housing incentives. The proposed Ordinance clarifies definitions and application procedures for the City’s Density Bonus Program. These updates are consistent with the 2035 General Plan and will bring the Municipal Code into compliance with State Density Bonus Law.
A full copy of the proposed Ordinance is on file in the office of the City Clerk, 300 First Street, Woodland CA. Should these be adopted by the City Council at the above-mentioned meeting, the Ordinance shall become effective 30 days following such passage.
