SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 1733 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WOODLAND AMENDING SECTION 17.84.030 OF THE WOODLAND MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING ACCESSORY DWELLING UNITS
At a meeting of City Council of the City of Woodland held on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at 6:00 PM in the City Council Chambers, 300 First Street, City Hall, Woodland, CA, the Ordinance as described below was considered for adoption.
At a noticed public hearing on January 21, 2025, the City Council voted to introduce and Ordinance amending Section 17.84.030 of the Woodland Municipal Code regarding Accessory Dwelling Units as a result of two new State of California bills – AB 2533 and SB 1211 – that amend state ADU law. These updates are consistent with the 2035 General Plan and will bring the Municipal Code into compliance with state law.
A full copy of Ordinance No. 1733 is on file in the office of the City Clerk, 300 First Street, Woodland CA. Ordinance No. 1733 was introduced at a meeting of the Woodland City Council on January 21, 2025, and adopted on February 4, 2025 by the following vote:
