[ARCHIVED] Public Notice - Inviting Bids for WPCF Influent Pump Station & Grit Facility Improvements, CIP 24-12

CITY OF WOODLAND

NOTICE INVITING BIDS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the City of Woodland herein referred to as “City,” at the office of the City Clerk, located on the 2nd Floor at City Hall, 300 First Street, Woodland, CA 95695, until 2:00 o’clock, p.m., on July 2, 2025, for furnishing all labor, material, tax, transportation, equipment, and services necessary for the: 

WPCF INFLUENT PUMP STATION & GRIT FACILITY IMPROVEMENTS, CIP 24-12

Bids will be opened and tabulated by or on behalf of the City Clerk immediately after 2:00 o’clock, p.m., on July 2, 2025.  Any bids received after the time specified shall be returned unopened.

This project shall be conducted in accordance with the plans, specifications and other contract documents, all of which may be examined online at https://www.publicpurchase.com/gems/woodland,ca/buyer/public/home or in person at the Community Development Department, Engineering Division located at 300 First Street, Woodland, CA 95695, Phone: (530) 661-5820. The work site is inside the City’s Water Pollution Control Facility. An optional pre-bid conference is scheduled at the work site for 10:00AM on June 18th at 42929 County Road 24, Woodland, CA, 95776. Site inspections may also be arranged through the Engineer, Mark Miller, (530) 661-5968, mark.miller@cityofwoodland.gov.  The project generally consists of the following: 

Installation of new submersible raw sewage influent pumps within the headworks wet well and influent bypass pumping to accommodate new pump installation; Replacement of mechanical equipment and piping systems, including pumps, blowers, grit classifiers, grit cyclones, valves and buried pipelines; Installation of a new grit discharge platform, washout area and pump pads; and Electrical system, concrete pavement, and civil and yard improvements to accommodate equipment installations.

The City’s estimated cost of the base bid improvements is $2.9 to $3.2 million.
